| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of weekly training in liberal arts physical education on college students' body composition and their impressions of velocity-based training, in which training velocity is monitored in real time. Twenty college students participated in this study and performed six types of strength training. Of these, bench press and squats were performed with velocity-based training. Body composition was measured after each training session and feedback was provided after class. Fourteen college students who accepted informed consent were included in the analysis. Results showed that weekly training sessions decreased body fat percentage and increased lean body mass. Furthermore, continuous recording and feedback of body composition encouraged participants to continue training after the class period ended. However, because body composition changes with the amount of daily activity and nutritional intake, changes in activity during the class period should be considered. In addition, although many participants were positive about velocity-based training, it is necessary to set a speed range in which participants can complete a set before their form breaks down during training, and to consider safer ways of training. | |||||||||||||
