This study aims to investigate the tendencies of\nlanguage learning strategy use by Japanese high school students and to consider some\nimplications for learner strategy training. Oxford's (1990) Strategy Inventory for Language\nLearning (SILL) was administered to 198 first-year senior high school students. As a result, we\nfound various features of their strategy use.
