The PL spectra have two peaks around 2.10 and 2.75eV. The temperature variation of the integral intensities for the band at 2.10eV obtained from the PL spectra shows a maximum between 50 and 80℃ where the interaction between the adsorbed H2O molecule and the zeolite framework is found to become dominant by the IR measurements.\nThe adsorbed H2O molecules play important roles for oxidation of Ag atoms in the silver clusters to Ag+ ions. The EXAFS analyses reveal that the Ag atoms in the（Ag+）8（Ag）6 molecules which are stable at\ncomplete dehydration are converted into Ag+ ions by the adsorbed H2O molecules and there appear silver clusters consisting of 4～5 silver nuclei in which the 4-ring Ag+ ions and 8-ring Ag atoms are included. It\nis discussed that these silver clusters are responsible for the PL
