と略す）」が取り上げられる以前から取り組まれていた、子どもたち自身による問題解決的な道徳教育の授業実践について、教育方法学的観点から検討を行い、AL の導入が学習指導要領レベルで議論されている現在の道徳教育にどのような意義を持つのかを検討することを目的とする。まず1977年版の学習指導要領と1989年版の学習指導要領における道徳に関する記述を比較し、1989年版からAL 的な学びが推進された背景について考察する。そして教育方法学的な観点からAL のあり方を定義したうえで、教育方法学的なAL の観点から教育実践を検討し、考察を述べる。結果として、1993年時点の道徳教育実践にも、主体的に子どもが討論や問題解決を行い、学習することをねらいとした現在の道徳教育に通底する知見があることが確認でき、AL
