うであるが、現状では利用方法はごく限られており未開発といえる。 \n　本研究では漆の濾紙を製本に活かせないかと考え、表紙の装飾紙として使うことを試みた。漆濾紙が製本で使われているのは見たことがなく、独自性が期待できると考えたのである。しかし、濾殻はそのままでは薄くて割れやすいため、耐久性、加工性に乏しく装飾紙としての利用は適していない。そこで裏打ちの技法を取り入れることにより、紙を厚く丈夫にして加工しやすい装飾紙とすることに成功した。
