養護教諭養成課程に在籍する女子大学生が学生自身の食事と水分摂取の実態を知り,改善点に気付くことで,保健指導に役立ててもらうために,72名を対象に質問紙調査と1日分の食事調査を実施した。①本調査と食事摂取基準を比較した結果,エネルギー,カルシウム,鉄分(月経あり),ビタミンD が有意に低値であった。②平均体重とBMI が国民健康・栄養調査と比べ有意に低値であった。③飲み物から水分を摂取していない者が4名見られた。④朝食を欠食していた者は20.9%であった。 \n 本研究では,多くの女子大学生は栄養素や水分が不足していた。感想では,自分の実態を知ったことで食事に興 味を持ち,改善点を考えていた。将来養護教諭を目指す学生が,自分の生活を振り返り,各自の現状に合わせた食 事や水分摂取の改善策を考え実践することで子どもの手本となる姿へとつながる。食事改善を実践した自身の経験が,児童生徒に対する保健指導に役立つことが期待される。
