This paper presents a new multiple focal-plane based focus image fusion algorithm to enhance the image quality. First of all, we will introduce a new focus image fusion lgorithm; next, we will demonstrate some experimental data and results on cytopathology slide images; and finally, we will verify the effectiveness of this algorithm using computer vision techniques and cytopathology diagnosis, and draw the
