We investigated the physical competence and compared the two groups, the exercise-exercised group and the exercise-non-exercised group. As a result, the perceived of physical competence scores and feeling of control of the physical competence scales significantly increased after-class. In addition, in the non-exercise group from the perspective of the exercise habits, feeling of control significantly increased after-class. Also in the exercise continuation group, perceived of physical competence significantly increased after-class. This also suggests that increasing physical competence through exercise/sports practical skills in liberal arts education classes has an impact on intrinsic motivation and continuation of exercise.
