The English Lounge was selected to pilot this program due to its variety of current special seminars offered to Hirosaki University students and past activities that include Faculty Development for using digital technology in the classroom and community outreach projects. For this initial pilot program, students were limited to Hachinohe High School and Aomori High School and involved two different learning opportunities. First, high school students were invited to remotely participate in English Lounge seminars during the university's spring semester. Then, during spring break, they joined a two-day weekend workshop designed to provide a culminating experience to the first semester. This report outlines the process of designing the program, reports the results of this pilot semester that had a total attendance of 369 high school students, and reflects on individual successes and failures in this hybrid teaching context.}, pages = {91--104}, title = {弘前大学イングリッシュ・ラウンジの高大接続の取り組み:オンラインで広がる新しい社会貢献}, volume = {6}, year = {2022}, yomi = {ヤグノ, ライク and タダ, メグミ and ソロモン, ジョシュア リー} }
