| 内容記述 | On 63 male students aged from 18 to 27 years ( 12 students who played regularly Track and field, 7 Rubgy, 14 American football, composite group consisting of 9 students who played other kinds of excercises except for the above mentioned, and 21 ordinary students), their body compositions ( body fat contents, Lean Body Mass:LBM) based on body density method ( water displacement method) and potassium-40 method, and the estimation of body compositions from the anthropometric measurements were discussed. The results obtained were as follows. 1. Though 2/3 of the subject took excercise regularly, mean body density was 1.0751 ± 0.0117g/m1. Because of the characteristic of the subject (2/3 excercised ). the average value of 4°k/body weight was expected to be rather high. However it was 2.19 ± 0.19g/kg, which was lower than that for Katsunuma and Taguchi et a1. at the ages of the subject. 2. As for the estimation of the percent body fat from body density and 4°k, the percent body fat obtained from 4°k ( 17.59 ± 7.21% ) tended to be higher than that from body density ( 10.93 ± 4.64% ). 3. On the estimation of body density and the fat contents from the anthropometric measurements, skinfold thichness. circumferences and physique index show higher correlation coefficients in due order. As for the regional correlation of body density and fat contents \vith the skinfold thickness. abdomen and suprailiac were more highly correlated than the two regions such as triceps and subscapular. Consequently it would be highly required to involve these two regions to descuss body composition from the viewpoint of skinfold thickness. 4. Mean values of body density ( g/ml ) and <k/body weight ( g/kg ) by the kinds of excercises were as follows; The students \vho played Track and field gave the highest values of 1.0830 ± 0.0099 and 2. 34 ± 0.05 respectively, those who played Rugby gave the values of 1.0747 ± 0.0196 and 2.16 ± 0.22, composite group 1.0763 ± 0.0067 and 2.20 ± 0.17, and those who played American football gave the lowest values of 1.0740 ± 0.0051 and 2.12 ± 0.018 |
