| 内容記述 | We will be concerned in this paper with Topicalization (TOP) and Left Dislocation (LD) in syntax and discourse. Syntactically, the sentence-initial NP in LD is arguably more detached from the S which follows than that in TOP. Viewed from the discourse angle, TOP has two distinct functions, whereas LD has only one basic function, which, however, takes on different nuances depending on the contexts in which it appears. |
