| 内容記述 | 本論文の主題は、昭和初期の官制公募展に出品した津軽で唯一の漆工である奈良金一と、彼が開発した「乾漆冬夏塗」が、津軽の漆工史上でどのように位置づけられるのかを明らかにすることである。方法論としては、一部の津軽塗関係者のあいだでしか共有されてこなかった郷土資料と、全国的な共進会・公募展の関連資料を対照する文献調査を行なった。本論第1 節では、弘前藩の塗師職により製造されてきた「研出変り塗」が、明治以降の産業化を経て「津軽塗」となっていくプロセスを概括している。第2 節では、明治期津軽の塗師の系譜を辿ることによって、代々弘前藩の塗師職を務めた青海源兵衛家の末孫から奈良金一までの連続性を調査している。第3 節では、商工省工芸展覧会受賞品図録を調査することで、奈良金一が出品した「乾漆冬夏塗」の詳細とその評価を分析している。結論として、奈良金一が「乾漆冬夏塗」を官制募展に出品していたのは、1926（大正15）年〜1930（昭和5）年の期間だけであり、世界恐慌の影響による津軽塗の大衆化に逆行するこの技法は、その後の戦時統制経済下で消えていったことが明らかになった。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The subject of this paper is to clarify the position of Kin’ichi Nara the only lacquer craftsman in the Tsugaru region, Aomori, Japan, who exhibited at public exhibitions in the early Showa period, and his development of kanshitu-touka-nuri in the history of lacquer crafts in the region. The author conducted a literature research that contrasted local materials, which had been shared only among a few people involved in tsugaru-nuri, with materials related to national competitions and public exhibitions. The author outlined the process of tsugaru-nuri through the industrialization of togidashi-kawari-nuri which had been produced by the Hirosaki Domains lacquer craftsmen, since the Meiji period in Section 1, and investigated the continuity from the youngest descendant of the Seikai Genbei family, who held the position of a lacquer craftsman in the Hirosaki clan for generations, to Kin’ichi Nara by tracing the genealogy of lacquer craftsmans in the Tsugaru region in the Meiji period in Section 2. The author also analyzed the details of the kanshitu-touka-nuri exhibited by Kin’ichi Nara and its evaluation by examining the catalog of award-winning products from Craft Exhibition sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Section 3. In conclusion, it was clarified that Kinichi Nara exhibited kanshitu-toukanuri at public exhibitions from 1926 to 1930, and that this technique, which went against the popularization of tsugaru-nuri due to the Great Depression, disappeared under the wartimecontrolled economy that followed. | |||||||||
